KATHRYN K. THEOFILOS, ESQUIRE, Owner While Kathy Theofilos dreamed of marrying the luxury of a spa with state-of-the art fitness classes and programs for children and adults, the blueprints for Oxygen Health & Wellness—Palm Beach County’s hottest health and wellness club for adults and children—were born. “I was tired of the same old crowded, dirty, workout center scene and wondered why the best of the spa, design and fitness worlds couldn’t be joined under one roof,” says Theofilos of her 10,000-square-foot North Palm Beach wellness club. “What you see here is everything that was on my wish list of the perfect club.” Kathy brings an eclectic mix of unique management and leadership skills and life experience to her position. She is president of Theo Development, Inc., a real estate development and management company and vice president of SNJ Properties, Inc., General Partners of Theo Realty Investors. Additionally, she is an accomplished attorney, having earned her J.D. degree with highest honors from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She is a member of both the Tennessee and Florida bar associations. She is married to spine surgeon Charles S. Theofilos, M.D. and they have three children, Stefan, Nicholas and James. |

Brian Beylo General Manager A three-year veteran of the fitness management industry, during which time he oversaw a 64,000-square-foot, 19,000-member fitness center, Brian joined Oxygen in September 2006. He is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the highest standards in programming and facility offerings and amenities are maintained. Brian is also responsible for developing and maintaining Oxygen’s growing membership as well as cultivating state-of-the-art fitness programs. Having received his Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Wellness, with a minor in pre-law, from the University at Buffalo, this New York native has devoted himself to the fitness field for more than 12 years. As a nationally recognized personal trainer, public speaker and corporate health promotion and wellness educator, Brian has helped a broad range of clients achieve their fitness and health goals, from instructing them in nutrition therapy and correct stretching movements, to body composition analysis and stress management. Brian is also a veteran body builder, having competed in two natural bodybuilding competitions, placing first at a New York state show in the Men's Novice Middle Weight and Men's Open Middle Weight categories. He is a member of the NGA, USBF, and NPC Bodybuilding Association. Brian also has Red Cross certifications in Heart Saver First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Bloodborne Pathogens. |

Sarah Fisher Personal Trainer/Instructor With certifications from the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Sarah brings to her position a wide range of skills and expertise. In addition to playing competitive soccer as a college student, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Flagler College as well as an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is also currently studing Holistic Healing and Nutrition. |

Brent D. Laine Personal Trainer With over eight years of experience as an exercise and conditioning professional, Brent has had the opportunity to train and condition athletes of all ages and skill levels. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Radford University and is a certified Speed, Agility & Quickness Trainer as well as a Certified Personal Trainer. Through his training and education, and a personal love for fitness and sports conditioning, Brent has taken many to the pinnacle of their ability. His burning desire to be the best, coupled with his commitment to reach new heights, gives Brent the competitive edge to be a leader in the fitness industry. |

Frank Manganella Personal Trainer/Instructor With more than a decade of experience as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, Frank is an Advanced Weight Training Specialist, Advanced Endurance and Sports Nutrition Training Specialist and Certified Master Trainer with the National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT), through which he served as the organization’s state representative. He received his strength and conditioning instruction at Penn State University, PA, as well as an Associate of Science degree in Business Management from Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. |

Vanessa Mallory Personal Trainer/Instructor- A certified personal trainer, AFAA certified instructor, and Cycle Reebok certified instructor, Vanessa received her BA in Education from Florida Atlantic University, during which time she realized the benefits of fitness and began her career in the industry. With more than 25 years experience, this industry veteran also holds fitness certifications to teach Aerobics, Power Step, Slide and group weight classes, making her a diverse and highly proficient member of the Oxygen team. Whether teaching an energy-filled spin class or training one-on-one with a client, her positive, high-energy attitude helps motivates her clients by creating a fitness experience for them that is both enjoyable and challenging. |

Mary Venegas Personal Trainer/Instructor A veteran trainer and martial arts competitor, Mary is certified by the American Council on Exercise and ISSA, with specializations in sports endurance training, aquatic fitness and martial arts conditioning. She is currently studying to become a physical therapy assistant. In addition to her work with a broad range of fitness clients, she also teaches an intense boot camp class, which includes strength training for legs, upper body and abdominals. Her philosophy regarding fitness is determination, hard work and a can-do attitude. "Mary is known for her hard core classes and don't-say-no personal training. |

Irma Leissring Pilates Instructor Irma's education and background is rooted in dance and music, having performed in dance concerts throughout Massachusetts and California, including the prestigious Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival. She received her MFA from the University of California, Irvine and a BFA from the Boston Conservatory of Dance. Her Pilates career began after studying and receiving her certification in the Ron Fletcher method and continued with PJ O’Clair, one of the industry's most respected STOTT Pilates Instructor Trainers. She went on to study at the prestigious Pilates Certification Center in Boston, MA. Her numerous workshops in the STOTT method makes Irma a knowledgeable and informed member of the Oxygen team as well as an asset to her clients. |

Trisha Hardin Pilates Instructor- After discovering the healing benefits of Pilates to improve her own flexibility, mobility, posture and overall health, Trisha was inspired to help others discover this popular exercise regimen. She received her certification from the prestigious All-American Pilates. She now uses this knowledge to help others on their path to good health. |

Holly Briscoe Yoga Instructor- A native of Kansas and veteran fitness enthusiast, Holly began practicing yoga for strength and flexibility and now teaches Hatha and pre-natal yoga, yoga-for-kids and more strenuous Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga. She is certified by the EOmega Holistic Institute and is a member of the California Yoga Teacher’s Association. |
